One of our first weddings this season was working with the wonderful couple Sean and Olivia. They picked beautiful flowers with a whimsical, boho with a natural twist along with accents of gold. From the start of the planning of this wedding I knew it was going to be absolutely beautiful. This wedding was an emotional event for me. Sean’s grandmother Carol was the first person to share the love of flowers with me, and 19 years later it is still going strong! So delivering Olivia’s bouquet was a tearjerker for me, I felt that I was paying it forward to her family. It is so much fun working with so many wonderful couples we are thrilled to share all of their images.
Sean and Olivia met in 5th Grade through a very dear friend, Jesse, and become friends immediately. When we walked into Laurel Middle School as 6th Graders, we were excited to learn that we had the same Homeroom together. For Olivia, it was love at first sight and all I could ever talk about was Sean, just ask any of her friends. Sean was smart, cute, and loved to play sports. For Sean, Olivia was the clumsy, funny girl who always had a story to tell. In 7th Grade, Sean asked me to be his girlfriend for the first time. They "dated" through the entire school year and for some reason, the relationship did not last. As high school began, they grew closer as friends and shared many memories together. As life would have it though, they both graduated and went to separate colleges, creating their own lives in different locations, yet always staying in touch and checking in on the other. After three years of friendship, we both realized quickly that there was something special between us. Sean wasted no time and asked Olivia to be his girlfriend! Four years later, they were married, with two dogs, and living the our happily ever after!
